I grew up in a household that honored magic and ritual. A quarter on the stovetop invited abundance our way. A lemon sealed in plastic wrap and tucked away warded off negative spirits. Tiny examples that taught me that magic was all around us.

With that, came tarot. My first experience with the tarot was at 3-years old, when my mom would drive us all the way from Connecticut to the Bronx for guidance from her trusted tarot card reader. Even then I understood how important this relationship was for her — it gave her the confidence she needed in moments of uncertainty. Helped her connect with her truest self.

So I studied tarot for 8+ years. Pulling cards for myself every morning, reading all of the meanings, absorbing the lessons as I moved throughout my day. Even in my beginning stages, I had the utmost respect for this craft — how positive and impactful it can be for those at a crossroads in their life.

I knew this practically, but when my father passed away in 2022 that’s when I learned just how incredibly meaningful the guidance of the cards could be for a person. My relationship with the tarot deepened in a way that I knew I had to bring out and offer to others. This was healing energy, empowering messages, and ultimately a reminder from the universe that you’re always loved, supported and guided.

So really, the decision to kick off That Oracle Guy was a very easy one — I want to help people navigate the ups and downs of their experiences. Because I know firsthand the power these readings can have as a north star in your journey.
